Input schema

query stringrequired — Free-text query. Supports Europe PMC syntax: field qualifiers (TITLE:"..."), booleans (AND/OR/NOT), phrase matching with quotes. Example: 'metformin AND (lactic acidosis OR "type B lactic acidosis")'.
pageSize integer — Results per page (1-100, default 25).
resultType string — Detail level: 'lite' (titles + IDs), 'core' (full metadata + abstract), 'idlist' (PMIDs only). Default 'lite'.
