# arp_app_register

`station__arp-oauth__arp_app_register` · external (needs EXECUTION_BACKEND_URL configured) · domain `arp-oauth` · pv-relevance `non-pv`

Register a third-party app. Returns client_id and client_secret (shown only once). App starts in pending_approval state until practitioner ratifies.

> **Note:** This tool routes through an external execution backend. If `EXECUTION_BACKEND_URL` is unset on the server, calls return JSON-RPC error `-32603 "Tool execution backend not configured"`. Tools with `backend: native` execute in-process and are always callable.
